Cookie Policy
This page explains how we use cookies on the Insan website, what each type of cookie does, and how you can manage your preferences here or through your browser settings.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device — your computer, tablet, or phone — when you visit. They don't run programs or carry viruses. They simply hold a small amount of information that helps the site remember you or your preferences between visits.
Most websites use some form of cookies. Some are necessary for the site to work properly. Others help website owners understand how visitors use the site so they can improve it. A third group is used for advertising. We explain the types we use below and give you control over the ones that are optional.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always ActiveThese cookies are required for the website to function. Without them, parts of the site would not work. They do not collect information about you for marketing purposes.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookieConsent | Stores your cookie preferences | 1 year |
| sessionId | Maintains session state | Session |
Analytics Cookies
OptionalThese cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are most visited, how long visitors stay, and where they came from. The information is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics visitor identifier | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics session tracking | 2 years |
| _gid | Distinguishes users (24-hour) | 24 hours |
Marketing Cookies
OptionalThese cookies may be set by our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests. They do not store personally identifiable information but work by identifying your browser and device. If you decline these, you may still see advertising, but it will be less tailored to your interests.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Facebook Pixel tracking | 3 months |
| ads/ga-audiences | Google Ads remarketing | Session |
Preference Cookies
OptionalThese cookies remember your settings — such as language or region preferences — so you don't have to reconfigure them on each visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| lang_pref | Remembers language selection | 1 year |
| region_pref | Remembers region or locale setting | 1 year |
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services that appear on our pages. We don't have direct control over these cookies — the relevant third party manages them. Services that may set third-party cookies include:
- Google Analytics — site usage measurement. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Maps — the embedded map on our contact page.
- Facebook Pixel — if marketing cookies are accepted.
5. Cookie Duration
Session cookies are temporary. They exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it. We use them for basic session management.
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period — typically between 24 hours and 2 years depending on their purpose. They are deleted either by your browser when they expire, or when you clear your cookies manually.
