AI-Assisted Maintenance Reading — Kuala Lumpur
A quiet second reader
for your maintenance records
kiz-ukunft sits alongside your engineering team — reading CMMS logs, drafting pattern memos, and surfacing observations that your maintenance manager can then act on. Engineers remain in charge of every decision.
What We Offer
Three engagements, one careful approach
Each service is designed to fit around your team's existing habits. We work at reading distance — not inside operational systems.
Maintenance Workflow Review
We sit with your maintenance manager and a senior technician, read a sample of your historical records and downtime logs, then write a short brief on where AI summarisation could ease the reading load — without replacing engineering judgement.
- Sample record analysis included
- Written brief for your engineering lead
- No commitment to further deployment
Records Reading & Drafting Pilot
A measured deployment of an AI assist that reads CMMS records and condition-monitoring data, drafts maintenance memos, and surfaces patterns across similar assets. Integration is read-only and outside any operational control system. Engineers confirm every recommendation.
- Six-week supervised period included
- Bilingual training for your team
- Read-only — no operational access
Quarterly Stewardship
A recurring advisory engagement for maintenance leaders whose teams already use AI reading assists. Each quarter we sample outputs, audit boundaries, and write a brief for your head of engineering. Includes alignment with JKKP, OSHA 1994, and customer audit expectations.
- JKKP & OSHA 1994 alignment check
- Quarterly written brief included
- Yearly summary for management review
Why kiz-ukunft
AI that reads alongside your engineers — not instead of them
We take the position of a careful assistant that summarises what is already in your records and drafts memos for engineering review.
Read-Only by Design
Our AI assist connects only to CMMS read interfaces. It writes summary memos. It does not issue work orders, adjust schedules, or modify asset records.
Engineers Confirm Everything
Every pattern observation drafted by the AI is reviewed and confirmed by your maintenance engineers before any action is considered.
Daybook-Style Reporting
Outputs mirror the plain language of a maintenance daybook — clear asset IDs, dated observations, and brief summaries suitable for handover meetings.
JKKP & OSHA 1994 Aware
Our Quarterly Stewardship engagement includes ongoing alignment checks against JKKP requirements and OSHA 1994 obligations relevant to your plant.
Bilingual Training Support
Pilot deployments include bilingual (English/Bahasa Malaysia) training sessions so technicians on the plant floor work with the tool comfortably.
Pattern Surfacing Across Assets
The AI reads across your asset history to note recurring issues in similar equipment classes — giving your team a clearer picture of what recurs and when.
Next Step
Would a second read of your records be useful?
We are happy to start with a short call — no commitment, no pitch deck. Just a conversation about your maintenance records and where a reading assist might fit.

Questions
Things maintenance managers typically ask us
Does the AI connect directly to our control systems or PLC network?
No. Our integration is read-only and limited to your CMMS and condition-monitoring data exports. We do not connect to PLCs, SCADA systems, or any operational control layer. The AI reads historical records and drafts memos — nothing more.
Who reviews the AI's observations before they reach my engineering team?
During the pilot period, kiz-ukunft's advisory team reviews outputs alongside your maintenance manager. After the supervised six weeks, your own engineers confirm each memo independently. We provide a short review checklist to support that process.
How long does the Workflow Review engagement take?
Typically two to three working days on-site or over video call, plus a few days for us to write the brief. Most clients receive the final document within two weeks of the initial session.
Is the Quarterly Stewardship engagement suitable for smaller facilities?
Yes. The stewardship scope adjusts to the size of your asset register and the frequency of condition-monitoring data. Smaller facilities often benefit more from quarterly audits because they have fewer in-house resources to review AI output independently.
What CMMS platforms does your reading assist work with?
We work with most common platforms used in Malaysian facilities — SAP PM, IBM Maximo, eMaint, and CSV exports from in-house systems. The Workflow Review includes an assessment of your current platform compatibility before any pilot commitment.
How does the pricing work for the Records Reading Pilot?
The RM 5,090 fee covers the full six-week supervised period including setup, bilingual training, and the final pilot summary report. There are no additional charges for the training sessions or the written outputs during that period.
